Oakland Grand-Lake Farmers Market
It’s easy to see why the Oakland – Grand Lake Farmers Market is widely acclaimed as the best farmers market in the East Bay. Oakland residents have made a ritual of this farmers market; anxiously awaiting Saturday morning to head over to Splash Pad Park to pick up their fruits and vegetables direct from their farmer and enjoy lunch on the lawn. The Oakland farmers market is open every Saturday, year-round, rain or shine, from 9am to 2pm.
San Rafael Civic Center Farmers Market
The Sunday Marin Farmers Market first opened in 1987, and has grown to become the third largest farmers market in California. Despite gaining recognition throughout the country, the Sunday Civic Center market still maintains its Marin community roots. The majority of patrons are local eaters who visit the market religiously each week to take home the freshest foods of the season. The New York Times listed the Sunday Market as one of the top places to visit in Marin. Visit the market every Sunday, rain or shine, and see why the Marin farmers market is one of the largest local gatherings in the state! The Marin farmers market is open every Sunday, year-round, rain or shine, from 8am to 1pm.
